Welcome to MJ Dougherty IV, CPA, PLLC! I operate in The Woodlands and Spring, TX area, but primarily operate virtually for your convenience and for those outside of the immediate service area. I offer a variety of services, primarily focused around the individual and business income tax preparation/planning. No surprise billing; an estimate will be provided before any work is started. About the Owner
I am local to the Houston area and reside in Spring. I have been an active volunteer with the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo since 2017. I am an Eagle Scout and live by the Scout Oath and Scout Law with those values reflected within my practice.
A fun fact, I'm probably the only CPA you'll ever meet that spent some time as a bull rider.
Proudly supporting youth agriculture education by volunteering and donating to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo and other surrounding rodeos/fair associations as well as promoting animal rescue efforts through local animal shelters and rescue groups like Rescued Pets Movement.
I am a certified Lean Six Sigma Green Belt and have led projects that have created both hard and soft savings of over $50,000.
